Ashton Method

It comes in capsules right. Is there powder in it or small balls? I immediately think of the horrible stories I've read about people tapering Effexor, which also comes in capsules but has small balls in it. And those people take out one extra ball every x weeks.

Either way, you could measure it and decrease the weekly dose.

Let's say 10 mg is the start and you diminish the total dose 5% every 14 days. First the AM dose and then PM?

Just an idea.

Here is an Ashton taper schedule for 75 mgs of Librium. I know you are taking less than 75 mgs. She also says 25 mgs of librium = 10 mgs of V if you do a substitution taper.  Also, she says>>>

If you are taking chlordiazepoxide capsules, change to tablets which can be halved for stages 14 onwards.

10 mgs of Librium = 4 mgs of Valium FYI.

Thanks! Would it be wise to start from the top or what? It's hard to find a doctor that's familiar with it to prescribe the right doses 🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Stage 13 using Ashton's protocol. She says you can get tablets instead of capsules. Do you know if this is true or not? That would be something to investigate.
