Setback and waves

Are set arwe back and waves the same things.  Can it last 13months.  Thank you. X

Waves are when you symptoms intensify.   These waves can happen at any time.....they can happen on a daily basis, or you can be doing better for a few weeks/months and then get hit with an intensity in symptoms that last days, weeks, months.  

Setbacks are what some people consider an actual reaction to something they ate, drank, medicine they took, etc. that causes their symptoms to intensify.

Waves can come and go until you are completely healed.
