Ear aches?

Has anyone had problems with earache while in withdrawal???

@[er...] I thought I had an ear infection for weeks on end during my taper! Even had an appt with the ENT. I didn't. It was one of those benzo tricks that my body played on me. Eventually the pain went away. But it was very painful and aggravating while it lasted. Maybe get your earache checked out? Learning that there was really nothing wrong helped me psychologically.

Terrible ear ache while I was still taking valium. ENT found nothing wrong  few years ago and said it was all muscular. Still have the ear ache after 8.5 months off. I have subsequently read that benzos are ototoxic. I was also taking ibruprofen whilst on the valium and discovered this is also ototoxic ! I think all the tiny muscles, fascia, blood vessels etc which support this delicate vestibular system are all contracted and irritated and need to calm down.

For me it was exactly the same. The ear pain lasted for about two months and then was gone. I wish you good healing 🍀
