Sorry to post again..just got the hang of it. When I wake up no anxiety or fear. As soon as I get out of bed it all starts . Anyone else experiencing this. Thank you.  X

Ive had this at times, currently not experiencing it. Sometimes I wake up and my dreams have been normal, and then I awake and realize this nightmare is actually my life and then symptoms get worse. But currently it's not happening, it just depends. Nothing is out of the ordinary with a messed up CNS unfortunately.

I get that one, too.  I wake up and just lie there for a bit, so comfortable and peaceful. Then my feet hit the floor, and back it comes.  I think part of it is a learned response.  Our days are so often filled with pain and anxiety, that I think I am subconsciously anticipating it.  I try to recognize that and do some deep breathing and self talk before I get up and that often stops it.

Interesting you mention that as the other day I wondered if the conscious mind was the problem! As I wake up and lie in a semi-conscious state I feel OK and then full consciousness takes over and woosh its all bad again. Its almost as though we are at war with ourselves. I guess it is why there are books called The Divided Mind and The Divided Self
