Simple Diazepam question

[Id...]

Recommended Posts

I know the answer is around but too much trauma when I talk about my situation and I still can’t piece all things together.

How many days during a tapering (more or less of course) should it take for a Diazepam dose to “show” its effects?

Truly thanks

From what I have been reading- some people notice changes days 3-5 and some notice it later- like after a week and a half

I just started tapering diazepam and have not noticed clear pattern yet.

Are you asking after you make a dose reduction in valium, how long before the effects are felt?

I recall when I jumped from 2.5 mgs during my last detox attempt. I did not get hit really hard until about 7 days later after stopping. I ended up reinstating.

I am doing much better this time. I am a tad below 2 mgs currently. My taper rate is approx. .5 mgs every 3 weeks. This time, I will jump from .5 mgs.

Hi thank you all so much!

This is immensely helpful.

Yes more or less, I’m trying to stabilize mid journey in my crossing, based on symptoms (really slight adjustments just enough to “function” again).

My goal is to be able to arrive at one dose at day then reduce more.

Last 24 h I “felt in a wd deep pit” (hence inability to search around)

I didn’t know if trace it in a variation, and if so how many days ago,

if it’s normal “fate”

or maybe a sudden monthly hormonal change that I never felt before meeting benzos.

But in general this is useful to understand better how much to wait to test my functionality as I go on.

Thanks again

(and if someone has experience, questions, an opinion a suggestion or really anything about what I am doing, please just jump in).

edit: I live in perpetual wd by the time I met you I was already so sensitized that normal switching schedules kills me at sight
