40 months: thriving and suffering

Just a quick check-in because I’m having a down day, but actually have been thriving for some time. I still manage my fragile system every day, but lately a lot of things have come together and I’ve found myself doing activism in earnest and a lot of folks have come out of the woodwork to support. I still struggle with massive anxiety, insomnia, ocd, chronic pain, but I feel like my personality and felt sense of wholeness have come back online and it’s like a miracle. I look forward to writing a success story one day, but for now I just want y’all to know that it’s possible to suffer and also to challange yourself. We’re all evolving so much under all this pain. Thank you for your continued support, buddies.

It’s wonderful to hear about the reemergence of your personality! Benzos and withdrawal rob us of this. I know you are not well, yet, but you are getting there. The fact you are out in the world, finding ways to use your experience and knowledge is a another step towards healing. Thanks for sharing us with us, and I wish you continued recovery!
