Tolerance withdrawal

Can someone confirm if you are in tolerance withdrawal if you would experience windows and waves? I’ve been stabilized on a small dose for a few years but I don’t know if I’m experiencing a setback from alcohol or if I’m tolerance. I’m getting windows and waves. Thank you!

Hello @[Mo...],

Welcome to Benzo Buddies! I assume from your post that you are presently taking a small dose of a benzo. What benzo is it and what is your dose?

Alcohol might be the reason for what you are feeling. Alcohol targets the same receptors in the brain as benzos. It’s often been called a liquid benzo. Additionally, it can be dangerous to combine the 2, since they are cns depressants.

Tolerance is different for each person. I’m not sure I had windows and waves, I was definitely sick while in tolerance,

Are you looking to taper off the benzo?

We look forward to hearing more from you,
