You are on a pretty high dose of klonopin, a very strong benzo. I’m very glad you are following a very slow taper plan. How much are you reducing and how often?

Benzos suppress our normal human emotions. When reduced or stopped, the emotions coming flooding back, this happened to me as well. It takes a while for the cns to reset and find balance again.

I don’t think this will last throughout your taper and recovery,things should settle down as the body adjusts to the dose reductions. 

You are among people who understand what you are going through and will support you and encourage you. This is doable, and in my opinion, we’ll worth the effort.
