Cutting Klonopin daily by 1%then 2%then 3% etc

Hello friends,

I have been on K for approx 2 months at 2mg. I had wanted to taper at 1 month but my doctor insisted that my symptoms were still severe. I am now cleared to taper but don't want the 25% sharp cut. I read on Quora that one would get almost no withdrawal symptoms if they cut from 1%,2%,3% of the original dose...ie, first dose would then be 1.98mg etc everyday. That at the end of the month one would have cut by 30% which is reasonable. I have a micro scale and was hoping to do this. Any thoughts?
