Hey guys! Has anyone here who is multiple years from withdrawal problems tried an antidepressant? I have PMDD and my hormones really affect my depression and anxiety, so much that I can’t really change it without some help. I need to know what withdrawal has been like from anti depressants for someone who has already been healed and gone through benzo withdrawal. Specifically if you took them after being all healed. Thank you!

I was diagnosed with pmdd thirty years ago. I took Zoloft for it. It has worked wonders. As far as the benzo goes. I had never been on one until a couple of years ago. Just for  three and a half months but still tapering currently. I continue to take the Zoloft and will indefinitely. I haven’t had any contradictions while tapering with the Zoloft. So I guess I don’t have the experience of taking an ssri after healing from a benzo but maybe someone else will be able to give you some input. Good luck with whatever you decide. That Pmdd is awful.
