Thanks arafurapearl

That was very beautiful. And so sad, yet true.

Here is one more I like a lot, written  and sung by Thea Gilmore and features Joan  also about war and coming home etc.

Complete change of pace.

sound starts at :28 seconds. Two parts to song.

Not Gay but can relate. Love Rods' mincing ways.

Former Benzo victim Stevie Nicks back stage rehearsing  "Wild Heart."

Heres a great performance by Stevie doing a classic. Can't help but consider her one of the family of victims of iatrogenic abuse, incompetency, and benzo mis-management. If you ever read her history I am sure you know what I mean.

One more from Joan: Love that gal! Her message is SO TRUE in this song don't you think? Can one have a satisfied mind and be benzo dependent?  Well I don't think so.

Hi Teakettle and Mary,

Glad you posted some tunes> I was beginning to think I was the only one here.

Some good classics Teakettle. Mother little helper thats easy for us to relate to I am sure.

Heres a version of Me and My uncle I like better than the dead version. she's certainly prettier wouldn't you agree?

Here another Dead Song I listen to have to play it over and over.

And Mary I enjoyed your selections as well. It is so easy to have false images in our minds of people we come in contact with on the internet on forums like this. I wouldn't have suspected you would have chosen these songs to post. They don't match the image I had of you in my mind . Isn't it strange? I particularly found the Johnny Cash "Hurt" song quite relevant in my own life. Thanks for posting it.
