This was all over the radio  when my Dad died.. three years ago tomorrow .  It reminds me of when I  was with my Mum and sister  were in a shop called "British Home Stores" (!)  having lunch trying to feel normal and this song was playing.    It must have been about then that I noticed that it was about the 50th time I'd heard it!!

I caught the end of that same show the other week!!

 

And last month they did this amazing Elvis special... there were a couple of shows. One was more of a behind the scenes thing and really showed how talented he was in the studio.  And then there was this other documentary about his Gospel music.  (I was a big Elvis fan when I was a pre-teen...!)  I love John Denver too... gonna take a quick look at that link now...

Beeper, I have this concert on tape and I wore it out watching it over and over and over. Live in Central Park. Wish I could have been there.  :smitten:

I don't know how to add it here, but a little song that always makes me cheery is Lyle Lovitt's  "If I had a Boat"
