Is there anything known about course of different symptoms?

Hi there, 

Relatively new to BB. 

In short: 1 year of 2.5mg lorazepam. Switch to diazepam + Taper in 8 weeks (doctors advice). Last dose 3th of August. 

Taper was very hard at times, but manageable in a way. 2-3 weeks after last dose got hit hard with fever like symptoms and a list of other symptoms like tinnitus, insomnia (nightmares), somber (don't like the word depressed), hartpalp, shortness of breath. 

 

Is there anything known about the course of symptoms in withdrawal? 

Something like "fever type of symptoms are generally first, later more anxiety, depression, sleep problems, tinnitus".. 

Or is it literally "no one knows?" 

Might be of help if you recognize my situation somewhat and are further in the process.

I don’t think so.  It seems to vary so much from individual to individual.

We don't really know what recovery looks like. Some people have found this post useful, but there's no scientific evidence for it, it's merely speculation.
