Val, it's really none of my business, but I would really hope you get the flu shot.  Many of us get it and feel absolutely nothing, if you read Stut's signature, she has caught it before and it really set her back.

You are trying to work and remain as stable as you can, it can really destabilize you.  You can put a question on Withdrawal Support to get different views.  I have even had the shingles's shot with almost no problems.  This years flu shot didn't even make my arm sore.  And yes, you may still get the flu, but the Dr's say, it at least won't be as bad.  Just a suggestion, I want you to stay as stable as possible, only reason I am writing this......

Flu shot : isn't anyone else afraid of side effects from the flu shot? I don't get it because I'm scared I could have an adverse reaction. I saw someone reported such thing on the thread : setbacks due to medication. Another thing is that there's this biologyst I know, and she says that flu viruses mutate constantly so according to her there's no use in getting a flu shot. My plumber got the flu shot last year and caught the flu regardless. In spite of all this, I still have doubts if I should get it. I passed a TERRIBLE flu last year.

 

Stutt, thinking of you. How's your daughter doing and how are you? Your aunt must be having a very hard time but she has several of you caring for her. I hope she makes it through the operation. Don't forget to take care of yourself too Stutt. Too many people and animals depend on you, and so do we.

The anxiey and depression is better today.  Comes and goes but the depression is my worst symptom. 

 

I hope you and your daughter continue to get better. It's hard taking care of others even though we want to when we are struggling with our own symtoms.  I also hope your aunt is stable as well as your sister.

Omg talk about back pain. I have lower back pain that I think might be female related so I'm going to the gyno next Thursday. I'm also going to the dermatologist for something on my back that looks suspicious. I've had skin cancer years ago. It was basal cell carcinoma, the kind you want if you're going to get it. I had it twice. I'm ready to scream! So it seems these holidays are going to be shot to hell. I'm so damn tired of going to Drs! Oh and then there's the POTS specialist on the 21st this month. I'm overwhelmed. I have a baby shower next Sunday. I have things I want to do with my grandchildren like pumpkin picking and hay ride, haunted amusement park. So much going on this month uhgggg. Oh and did I mention the bottom of my heals hurt! So it hurts to walk 🤬 .. Ok rant over. 😔

Good morning Intend did you ever see the painting The Scream by Edvard Munch? That's me nearly daily.l know l would be a lot worse if l sat doing nothing.lt is hard to keep going when you feel overwhelmed and ill all the time however l do what l can.

  I know there is a lot of talk regarding this Lisa ling item.l can't see it really having a lot of impact however it is a start.l am sure it won't please a lot of people on here however it may start to get the message across.l just hope she doesn't paint us all as addicts.lt really doesn't help our cause.

But they are serious. The BIC I mean. Safe tapering protocols are not enough I don’t think.

TTTTTTT, lol, okay I have a gynecologist next week, eye procedure the 18th and just my regular Dr appointment in Nov, then pdoc Dec , in the last week, can't remember date.  I need to get my teeth cleaned and checked but making another appointment makes my head want to spin and I start getting on the Liquid.  We are pitiful    I have to hope the hold eases some of the pain, then I might could get myself to make dentist appointment, the way I clench .  How did the return of the furniture go?  MM

TTTTTTT, lol, okay I have a gynecologist next week, eye procedure the 18th and just my regular Dr appointment in Nov, then pdoc Dec , in the last week, can't remember date.  I need to get my teeth cleaned and checked but making another appointment makes my head want to spin and I start getting on the Liquid.  We are pitiful    I have to hope the hold eases some of the pain, then I might could get myself to make dentist appointment, the way I clench .  How did the return of the furniture go?  MM

They picked up the furniture at 9:30 this morning. My old set is back in the living room and I'm soooooo glad! I couldn't find anything else I liked so I'm going to wait until after Christmas to look. I can't go through all that again and I'm just too damn busy this month! 🤯.. oh and I'm making a cut Nov 1😳😳😳

 

This is my favorite time of year and I love October but right now October is a bust 🤬

Mary, my back pain and especially piriformis syndrome which hurts to the point I can't bend down to pick up something, I have to bend my knees, this pain has not improved one bit with the gabapentin. Besides, after coming out of acute withdrawal, where I hardly ate anything, now I'm hungry ALL DAY, and I blame the gabapentin for this. I'm struggling not to gain weight, fighting cravings all day. As if benzo withdrawal wasn't bad enough. Just my two cents.
