Where to start and how?

Currently at 20mg Valium a day.  So happy I am off Klonopin and back on Valium.

 

7.5mg - 9am

5mg - 3pm

7.5mg - 11pm

 

I will hold 20mg Valium for a short time before I start my taper.

 

What is usually a good taper rate and how often to keep symptoms at the lowest?

Very nice that you are over on Valium. Like Livefree22 said, just head over to https://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/ and start reading. That is basically the bible for us. I think I knew it by heart before starting my taper. Just so I would not become unsure while tapering.

Klonopin is a beast. Glad you seem stable on the valium. I personally think it will be a lot easier to come off, but it too is no cakewalk.

I'm on K too and it is an unpredictable beast. It makes me feel one way one day and one way another and it's not pretty. People on the threads have discouraged me from trying Valium...idk why..
