Speaking of product placement in movies...

In "Superman II", General Zod throws Superman through a delivery truck for what brand of cigarettes?

Immediately following that, Superman throws Zod into a rooftop neon sign for what drink?

I feel like it was  Pepsi sign? I need to watch it again, it's been awhile and I love that one. The cigarette truck I'm not sure about...I'm going to say...Virginia Slims. Wait, Newport. I don't know. Now I am doubting myself about the sign, too.

If you haven't already, see the 2006 Richard Donner cut. I'll take those old movies over Zack Snyder's bleak and soulless take on Superman any day.

Here's your answer:

I was so wrong! I thought Coke and Marlboro would be too obvious. Shows what I know.

I loved Superman as a kid. It was the first store-bought Halloween costume I chose for myself, at age 3.

I'm not a fan of any of the recent DC films. Even Wonder Woman was just okay. It's unfortunate.

Yeah, we had those crappy plastic masks and smocks made by Ben Cooper. Today's costumes are so much better. Here's what I remember wearing.

Agree about the DC films, save for Christopher Nolan's Batman. Saw The Dark Knight in the theater, and came out feeling like I'd been hit in the gut. It was like Martin Scorsese had made a superhero movie.

Yeah, I meant the Ben Affleck-as-Batman period. I still shudder at just the thought of that. Obviously the Dark Knight films are a whole different thing.

I remember when fans shuddered at the thought of Michael Keaton as Batman, and there was even a petition that was circulated against it. And they cringed at Prince's songs. But 30 years later we remember both fondly. Time softens the heart. hehe
