:( I cheated. I kept thinking of Rollergirl (sorry, she's memorable), but I knew that was Heather Graham's character, and I finally remembered the first name but not the last, so I googled. :(

Amber is the only part I got honestly.

(This is maybe TMI, but when we were in our 20's, my sister and I (and a male friend of ours) were inspired by Boogie Nights to start an annual Christmas party which came to be known as "DCP" or Disco Christmas Porn. Everyone wears slutty seventies gear and drinks lots of booze listening to disco with 70's porn (of both of the common persuasions, at the time) playing quietly on a tv. In other words, exactly what it sounds like. We drifted away from it in our early 30s but my sister made it happen again this year. They rented a whole floor of a bar for it, but the bar, at the last minute, said no porn. :( A friend of my sisters wore skates (w/ a white fur coat) and managed to stay on them all night. I, sadly, did not go because of this whole benzo nightmare and not being able to drink. :P)

We need photographic proof of this.

Anyhoo...

On a related note. What's the infamous rumor (fact?) surrounding the munchkin actors in The Wizard of Oz?

There are photos somewhere on my old hard drive. I've always been the photographer in my crew so I'm not in many of them.

I assume that you are talking about the "drunken orgies" thing, which came about after Judy Garland made that atrocious "butterfly net" comment. I don't think it's true. The munchkins who spoke about it said there were a "few" promiscuous ladies and a " couple" of aggressive men, or something of that nature, and many of the little people there did find spouses. For many of them, it was their first time meeting another little person. I imagine it was an extremely exciting and emotional time. I believe the Little People of America group was founded as a result of "Oz". Sadly, the plight of little people in show business hasn't improved much since then. Except, or course, for Peter Dinklage. (Who, I'll admit, I have a serious crush on, going back to The Station Agent.)

Hmm...here's an easy one, if you have been keeping up with the Marvel movies...what type of fantastical creature does Peter Dinklage play in the Marvel universe?

Apologies for irresponsibly spreading salacious rumors...

Never heard of Dinklage, and haven't seen a Marvel movie since Iron Man 3.

Your integrity is intact, waves.  I trust you entirely.  :)

I am a naive, though.  :D

I was given next question for getting half  Val ? the shark lady right.

I scrolled back and saw some questions relating to australia...Daintree...

Thanks for thinking of me, I am so bad at Marvel, and super hero questions.

I'll probably get the austraian one's wrong too.  Poor fella my country.

Oh, am reminded since talking little people. Got a picture taken with Kenny Baker. More superfluous nerd cred.  :P

No worries. I believe every actor who worked on the film is dead, at this point, so no harm done. :)

Never heard of Dinklage? Have you not watched Game of Thrones?

It's too bad you gave up on the Marvel movies...they finally got good! Doctor Strange is my favorite.

Peter Dinklage appeared in Infinity War, as a giant. It's pretty obvious, but it still made me smile.

Go for it, Dee! You ask a question!

Have never seen Game of Thrones. Shoot me. Will binge watch when I'm in retirement home.

Meet em at nerd conventions of course.

My favorite photo-op was with Stan Lee, may he rest in peace. The girl ahead of me gave him a kiss. I walked up and he said "You're not going to get a kiss from me!", and I replied "I only paid for a photo!" We both laughed and it made a great Kodak Moment.

All previous posts were great.  I loved the pics.

Ok, my one sorta spacey question.

What insult did Doctor Smith, out of Lost in Space, use to describe the Robot when it didn't perform as Smith required?

I think you like Lost in Space, Dee! hehe

Did you tell us what Smith's first name was? I don't remember seeing it.

I'm gonna guess he called that poor robot "Imbecile!" lol

Here's pensive, brooding Dinklage for you ladies...

Love the Stan Lee story. Are there nerd cons in Canada? Or do you have to travel into the states for that?

Thanks for indulging my crush. That first photo is almost too much. The GQ pic is great. You should watch The Station Agent if you ever get a chance.

I won't shoot you for not watching GoT. But I don't think you should wait for the retirement home. It's almost time for the last season. If you start binging now you can watch it with the rest of us!

As to the Forman question, was it Amadeus? Total guess.

Dee, I have no idea on yours. Never watched Lost in Space. Just know the robot's name because I bought a miniature painting of him standing in a field holding a flower and the title on the back is "Robbie in Love". Bought it from the artist, an old man, at a farmer's market. Most of his paintings were of birds, and barns, and trains. And then, suddenly, a robot. I just had to take it home.

You just HAD to remind me he's married. :(

Yes, good guess. He played a jester-like performer in one of Mozart's comic operas.

Yeah, Robbie The Robot. Wasn't he the one who said "Danger! Danger!" all the time?

I'm jumping all over the shop here, sorry.

I did like Lost in Space Shook.  Used to wait for it every week.

Smith's first name was Zachary, and he insulted poor robot with, "you bubble headed boobie!"

Robot was lovely.
