I agree with ideallifevision WOW! Thank you for this very interesting article Ajusta, that highlights how receiving the wrong diagnosed condition can place one in the hands of the wrong people.

 

I wander how many people could be leading a more normal life, if they had only been diagnosed correctly from the start. How sad to think about this, especially after my own encounter with what the wrong drug can do to a life. Not only is this sad but it's scary to contemplate too.

"These were the antibodies found in Sarah and turned up in 3% of people tested." >> out of "228 people when they developed psychosis for the first time."  I wonder what percentage that would be with a larger sampling group - and imagine if all new psychosis cases were that carefully screened...

 

Anyway, the article is really interesting and I'm glad to have read it.  I'm very happy that Ms. Galloway is better and that studies are happening on this subject.
