What's up with this weather?

I live in central Pennsylvania and the weather is so erratic.  I just checked the radar at accuweather.com and we're supposed to have thunderstorms in a few minutes.  I see the oranges and reds on the radar heading my direction.  Then when I check it again a few minutes later, it's gone.  It's like these storms just form out of nowhere and puff disappear just as quickly.  I don't see them moving easterly like they normally would.  Then the weather report says no rain, and then we get rain.  Why can't they get it right?  Does anyone else have erratic weather that the weather people get wrong?  When I was a kid in the sixties, we only got thunderstorms in the evenings.  Never at night or during the morning.

I know that's aggravating but we are having , here, in SaN Antonio, it's been 98 to 101 the last 8 to 10 days.  I guess we just gripe and be grateful we don't live near a volcano

I wouldn't be so afraid of the rain if I had a better roof on my home.  Everytime it rains I have to worry about roof leaks.  That why I hate the rain so much.
