Nextdoor portal

Has anyone ever used the Nextdoor neighborhood portal? It seems like Orwell's "1984" is there. It's a portal, but it feels like a forum, with a bunch of neighbors squabbling over the smallest things, and over-zealous citizens trying to send all the homeless people on drugs into rehab, homeless people with mental issues to institutions and poor people straight up to a homeless shelter. It's so nice when I have such "caring" neighbors around. Gives me a warm and comfy feel  . And of course, mandatory drug testing for all homeless and more police to lock them up, too. Apparently some of the privileged can't stand the sight of people suffering....

 

Based on the comments, all of the "druggies" are supposedly on "meth" or something similar, and the police officers chime in and talk about seizing needles and bags with powder and whatever. It seems that the fact that so many struggle with Rx drugs is lost on the loudmouth neighbors.....

I maintain a presence to keep track of my more....excitable neighbors who think every minority that walks anywhere near the neighborhood is some sort of neerdowell planning to steal everything.
