THERE IS A REASON FOR GIVING THANKS THIS THANKSGIVING!

Many of our U.S. buddies may not feel very thankful as this Thanksgiving holiday approaches, but thankful they should be. Things may seem pretty bleak while in withdrawal or going through a rough taper, but you have (or soon will have) banished a poisonous drug from your system, opening the door for a normal happy life. Your withdrawal or taper has not killed you, nor will it. Being alive, even while being in a state of temporary duress, leaves open the opportunity to experience the wonders that life has to offer and the joys of present and future relationships. You are doing something that is very difficult, but with the price comes great value and that is life and future happiness.

 

Thanksgiving is a day on the calendar, but gratitude come from within. It can be good at hiding, but it is always there to be found if you look hard enough.

I also wanted to thank you for your posts on the z-drugs support group thread.  I haven't posted there yet, but I read it and re-read it a lot.  Ambien was in my life way too long, I have learned so much from you about it, thank you.  Happy Thanksgiving!
