I will predict the following teams win:

 

Nebraska over Missouri

Stanford over Washington

Northwestern over Indiana

Michigan over Penn State

Oregon over USC in a close one

Baylor will likely cover the 9 point spread against Texas but I hope Texas wins!

 

Rangers over Giants

Good call Verti. I think the Giants will handle the Rangers tomorrow (at least I hope so).

You mean good calls Optimist .  I believe not only did the Rangers win but all my other picks with the exception of one, Michigan.  Baylor not only covered the spread but unfortunately beat Texas .  Stanford crushed Washington, Nebraska easily beat Mizzou, Oregon and USC tight but Oregon prevailed as expected, by the 4th quarter.  Personally, I think Oregon should be #1 but they've got a tough game against Oregon State to end the season as does Auburn against Alabama. 

 

Glad to see the Rangers win a game.  We'll see how game 4 goes.  I have no predictions.

I used to go to the race track when I was younger.  When I'm in Las Vegas, I might bet a horse race or two but you'll mostly find me at the sportsbook . I like my odds there better .

Baseball is my favorite sport.  I especially enjoy all the statistics and history that go with it.  My favorite team is the Washington Nationals 

I started following the NFL more recently.  Redskins being my fav.  (I'm originally from the DC area).

Oh Vert you just gave me a great memory.  When I was a teen my uncle bought a Race Horse.  My Dad used to take me on the weekends sometimes and it was cool to hang out in the paddocks with all the beautiful horses and meet the trainer and jockey.  I was there one Sunday when he won his race and I was in the winner's circle picture.  I started betting the ponies for a couple of summers in my late teens and did pretty well, LOL!

Excellent pitching.  The Giants deserved the victory .

The "torture" is over.  I saw that sign yesterday.  I guess this was their 4th attempt since moving to SF?

I was there for the 1989 earthquake series.  I guess the A's won that one.

Well, predictions didn't do as well as the previous week. 

Oklahoma State won easily

Iowa State not only covered the spread but almost won the game

Texas (not surprisingly) did not show up to the Kansas State game but I suppose I had wishful thinking

Alabama played hard but it was too tough playing away at LSU

I was probably most surprised about Missouri not getting the win

Well, such is life.  There were some good games to watch

Hi. Another interesting weekend of sports coming up.

I've been pretty sure of some games in the past but if Oklahoma State doesn't crush Texas today, I will be completely shocked, as much as I'd like to see Texas win, it is not possible.

Poor Longhorns .  I'm going out on a limb here and predict a Texas victory this weekend . If they can't beat Florida Atlantic, that would be a bigger shock than if they had beaten Ok State last weekend!

Saints beat the Cowboys!  Happy Dance!

Went to the Texas game last night.  It was very cold and windy.  Turned out to be a closer game than expected though.  The Longhorns had their opportunities but you can't win games with key turnovers. It was fun despite the chill factor and the Aggie fans who wouldn't sit down.  Can you believe they stand up the entire game .  Better luck next season.
