Lol abcd "hunners" means hundreds and its an exagerration!  ie " I was in a fight and there was hunners of them!"  No there wasnt there were three!  Lol.

I can share a funny story (I hope you find funny)

I took my Scottish relatives bowling while they were here on holiday. My cousin Jimmy threw the ball, and then started to trip on his own two feet. I innocently yelled out "don't fall on your fanny!!!"

Turns out that word means something very different in Scotland then in America. Thankfully Jimmy had no hard feelings, just a really red face. Oops!!

Well, I never, that is a different language ... those of us in the North-East of Scotland wouldn't understand a word of it.  :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

And I am absolutely 100% Scottish ... right back to the 1600s ....  in fact 95% north east Scottish ....  :D :D :D

I am joining in as my Mother always told me that she had a wee bit of Scottish from her Grandmothers side, so I will follow this thread. So I must have a wee bit indeed... :):thumbsup:

Hey Scottie, thought I would drop off some yummy Scotish Eggs, one of my Favorites, did not know when I was little why my Mother made them, but loved when she did. Just the wee bit of Scot says it all..... ;D
