well they do lower blood pressure so if your blood pressure is low to begin with it would stand to reason that you would feel light headed and woozy.......talk to your Dr.  try a lower dose?

 

I forget the exact mechanism bc you're correct in that they are not psychotropic - I know people who take one just when they speak publicly - in fact I've heard of it used in isolated instances for that a lot.......but:

 

A very wise Dr told me years ago - "there is not one single drug out there that is safe for 100% of the people 100% of the time - not one"
