Home before Dark

Really cool

Jean Simmons gets out of the nuthouse and goes home where her husband basically gaslights her so he can drive her really mad, shut her up, keep her fortune and go on getting it off with her sister-in-law. Charming !!!

Gaslight.

Gothic type horror of the mind.

I did too! Many years ago. You're right, it was very depressing...I did buy the movie, though but it wasn't as good as the book (never is)... :P

Yup. Virginia Woolf took the final plunge to that 'Room Of Her Own', in the sky.

We could start a new thread here about women poets and writers who have 'Offed' themselves, but's we won't. Too, Too depressing Dahling.

Morning CeeCee. Can't do coffee this morning. No caffeine for twenty fours hours because of a chemical stress test tomorrow. Disgusting.

The Caretakers.

Polly Bergen in the Funny Farm. Good old days with patients being wheeled around in basket wheel chairs. Guess that's where 'Basket Case' comes from.

It could also refer to all the basket weaving that went on. Be an angel and bake some more of your yummy cookies to have with our coffee.

Berserk.
