This thread isn't supposed to be a debate about whether there is such a thing as spiritual gifts.  Some believe and some don't.  We're just sharing our beliefs, experiences, gifts, etc.

I have prophetic dreams, and uncanny ability to read people. I met with a holistic dr once that theorized most people medicated for "anxiety" are actually empaths with spiritual gifts. It can be overwhelming and cause fear. I know once the med came out of my body my dreams returned! With the added benefit of no anxiety. Don't get me wrong, it took time, but I feel very connected again at 8 months out.

I've always been sensitive to other people's energy, even as a kid.  My first-grade teacher was harsh and it made me sad and reclusive in class.  Then she said I lacked self-confidence.  It was just her who wasn't so kind.  I don't like harsh, loud, obnoxious, and crude people.  They make me anxious.  I like people who are well-mannered and decent.  I'll either get anxiety around someone or feel more trusting.  I'm too sensitive.  When I first meet someone, I can feel their vibes.  I usually don't listen to what I'm feeling though and often see people through rose-colored glasses instead of what I'm really feeling around them.  That always did get me into trouble; not trusting my feelings.

I can always tell when there is a full moon...we all seem to get more sensitive and personally I get crabby....

I conquered benzo w/d and have been healed for a few years now. I had to have some sort of spiritual gift to get through that!  :o :o
