Why are the times on the post so far off in this forum?

I've wondered about this for a while. Why are the times on this forum so far off of the time of where I'm at? And can I change it?

I've wondered about this for a while. Why are the times on this forum so far off of the time of where I'm at? And can I change it?

 

This should hopefully help you:

 

Click the "Profile" menu.

A new "Modify Profile" menu will appear a few lines below the main menu.

Click the "Modify Profile->Look and Layout" sub-menu.

A new "Profile" screen will appear.

Click on "(auto detect)" next to the "Time Offset:" field's textbox.

Click on the "Change profile" button.

Check to see if the time is correct by viewing any thread/post in the forum.

You're all done!

It's called a Painted Bunting. We used to get them here when we had a bird bath outside in the summer. Beautiful bird!

Thank you! It really is beautiful. Here in the UK, our birds are beautiful but not all those wonderful colours! Cheers for getting back to me. Gilly x
