First SNOW of the year

Here in central Iowa USA.  It's very beautiful.

Looking back I was so afraid of this season coming when in acute w/d because of the cold and snow.

Thank gawd that is over.  It's very pretty! (cold and windy too but fun to watch)

Have you had any snow where you live?

Not yet here in Northern England but we have had hailstones today and the temperature is supposed to drop dramatically in the next couple of days, so it might not be long off! Enjoy your snow! Gilly x

Where is that gardener?

It is sticking to the roads now and my very short commute home was slippy in my truck.  No weight in the backend.

Listening to the road reports, tons of accidents around the Des Moines area!  Yikes.

I used to have a winch on my truck and used it once to pull someone out of the ditch.  Should have kept it - could have made a few extra bucks in weather like this... or just been a good Samaritan.

Northern Michigan. It's going to go south of us. I hear Chicago and Milwaukee are going to get the biggest hit. Seems like they got a lot of snow last year, too.
