Hey All,

I thought I would post a couple of my favorite folk songs.

City of New Orleans ~ Arlos Guthrie

Like A Rolling Stone ~ Bob Dylan

Anyone else have any favorite folk they would like to share?  Love listening to everyone's music, I think it's some of the best sharing on the forum...'cause it truly comes from the heart.

Thanks, babyangel for the songs.  I can't get on Youtube because I only have dialup ISP.  I like Kenny Roger's song, Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town.  He was good with Kenny Rogers and the First Edition.

Wow...That was great! Just goes to show it doesn't really matter how Dylan sings it or who he plays with, it's all pretty incredible.

Here's another with some of his friends from his 30th Anniversary Tribute:

Yep, both great songs and artists....timeless music.  Remember Lobo? Some of his stuff sounds like soft rock, but wiki lists him as a folk artist.

This is a real pretty song.  (Kinda sad)

Very nice...she has a beautiful voice, doesn't she? I saw here years ago at Tanglewood in Lenox,MA. Summer home of the Boston Pops. They have a "Popular Artist series" every summer. James Taylor plays there every year. He lives one town over.

Thanks Insom :)

Here's a couple from a female artist that started out country and then seemed switched over to Top 40. She's in full cowgirl garb at this show.

Let Me Be there ~ Olivia Newton John

If You Love Me Know ~ Olivia Newton John

What a beautiful woman....
