Willie Nelson.  I used to go see Gene Watson all the time at an outdoor fire company show all the time.  Farewell Party was his big hit.  The Bellamy Brothers.  The Outlaws are southern rock, I guess.  They wore cowboy hats so I guess that counts for something.
