Passing the Time with a Distraction...internet wise....

During the manifold hours I go to 'enjoy' in a highly agitated state (anxiety, depression, etc.) during the harsher times of my withdrawal, I discovered that online puzzles helped to distract me from focusing on my situation.

 

It never actually took away the pain, just allowed me to not pay attention to it so much-

Here's one I found during my taper. The music makes me sleepy, so it's a good one to play at night. Kind of silly, but I'm down to half a brain.

 

Sometimes it asks you to sign in, but you can "x" out and it will still let you play.

Online Scrabble and jigsaw puzzles

 

I don't play any games, but what I do when I am bored and tired of BB something just pops into my head and I search for the explanation on the internet. These are weird thoughts out of the blue but my brain has been weird out of the blue from the beginning, before benzos. 

 

A  couple of examples that just popped into my head.: What role did England Play in WW2? I got this idea after the UK said no to the USA's request to help with Iraq.

 

Another one: Did Lewis and Clark really find the west? They keep me occupied and I end up learning a lot. I realized I earlier gave the Brits far less credit than they deserved.

Good point benzo girl. It's amazing how much of 'history' has been edited out.

 

Another thing I do when extremely bored- is to find out if Rule 34 is true or not.

(If it exists, there is porn of it)

 

So on a search engine- I type in: '*****'...porn.  Like- Accounting porn, or decimal porn...

 

And invariably- I find porn.

 

So far- I can't remember if I've not found porn of just about any noun or verb I've entered.
