Well I've worked for the concessionaire company for Yosemite Park- in which I got to live in a Tent Cabin for a couple of years (winter time in a tent cabin in Yosemite Valley).  Been there, done that.

Grand Canyon during the foggy season. Fog isn't going to kill me if I stay put.

Fire season scares the crap out of me. And it makes me sad seeing all the dead, black trees and empty , barren, ashy lands.
