I use zynega words with friends which is free.  For use on android devices only.

 

PM me and we can exchange user names.

 

Does not breach anonymity.

 

You can play when you want and for long as you want.

Normally pretty good but I do have cog fog just now.

 

I play others on the site (not people I know) and do get beaten. I don't mind, it passes the time.

 

The app shows the number of games you have won and lost and your average word score.

 

It has a dictionary which is good and you learn new words.

 

Remembering them is more of a challenge. 

 

It is good because you just play when you feel up to it. No pressure.
