even though i'm a newbie still..... wanted to ask

this seems like such an amazing community, I've gotten the warmest, warmest welcome.

random thought....I wonder since some other groups created for various topics do this, why not us as well?

 

I was wondering do you all actually meet-up offline? would you ever consider it?

it's a bit of a stretch , mentioning all of this ..because I know we all deal with anxiety, depression, etc, or any physical ailments.

& that'll be an issue for some to break out of the cocoon for a bit & meet new people.

It would be a cool idea. annually.. maybe a weekend thing, share success stories or progress..

have like a motivational speaker come & talk..give us encouraging words, meditate ..bring like a yoga instructor

then maybe have a dance one night....cool dj & round it out with a brunch..& etc.

but important thing, wherever we have it, make sure it's in a relaxing environment.

only an idea ppl...only that lol I know collecting money is an obvious thing.... but the whole idea of meeting, etc,. that's what I wanted to share with you all. whoever could make it out to whichever location would be chosen...all bb's welcome & supporters of bb's too )

Others have asked about doing this, and frankly, we strongly discourage it.  This is due to privacy and safety issues - though most of our members are honest and truthful, we have had a few who weren't.  These people may be trying to sell something, or may be mentally unstable, or may be simply having some "fun" by making up elaborate personas/stories to elicit sympathy from other members.  And who knows what else....

 

We do have a rule against exchanging personal information.  Anonymity here is in everyone's best interest. So, beware, and be careful.

I will... . it's one thing for folks to open up online to like thousands about their story & to know ppl take advantage or may lie about a story of their own is despicable.

I understand why now , thankxx )
