I got a sampler CD years ago that included a few Hevia tunes, and for whatever reason, one of his pieces popped into my crazy brain last evening. The other night, I had Paul McCartney's "Mull of Kintyre" (another pipe tune) going 'round and 'round my noggin'. As far as "other treats" go, I must say, I spent a big part of Friday listening to Leonard Cohen. (Thanks, too, for your LC post.)

And this one has been on heavy rotation in my place recently. It's Elton John's (Live in New York) 2004 version of "Levon" with a full band, orchestra and rockin' choir. I can never get sick of this one! I also listen to the MUCH earlier version (1971) where Elton's voice is a few octaves higher and stunning. Gives me shivers!
