Thanks, abcd Lyrics are just poetry. And we can interpret poetry in so many different ways. Pat Monahan wrote both the lyrics and the music with all his heart. They are so beautiful and expressive. This song actually makes me cry sometimes, when I'm listening to it.

 

I often try to imagine how life without my Kitty would look like... And honestly, I can't. This song about life energy being interconnected in the Universe. Gives me some kind of strength and hope. Lets me face the fact that my Kitty is a mortal being in a more Stoic way. Helps me get rid of the morbid fear that she may become sick or be gone before me. Yes, to me she is really special. She transformed my life on every level. Helped me discover my passion for photography. Caused a major priorities' shift. Which I would never even have imagined before.

 

And as Antoine de Saint-Exupery once put it in "The Little Prince": "[...]If someone loves the flower of which just one example exists among all the millions and millions of stars, that's enough to make him happy when he looks at the stars. He tells himself 'My flower's up there somewhere...'[...]"

 

Gonna post some song a bit later. Now I'm too tired to look for the pix to illustrate it. Since I cannot post Kitty's portraits here. At least I upload others' photos. Music, colors and words have always been my whole world. Until Kitty came into this life of mine.

Thank you, abcd After 24 hrs of mental pain, I can finally cry. I know I should be strong.

"Girls like me" don't cry. Always thought I should have been born a boy. Used to be a real fighter. Only the cause for which I fought was wrong. How could I have become such a wimp. I probably should numb my feelings and go to sleep. I will wake up anyway. Sorry for the wail. Self-pity is pathetic.
