Sorry that you cannot sleep. Actually if you read the recent bio of Lennon by Hunter Thompson she is not so awesome. Or so it appears. Seemed she shacked with with a new guy two days after Lennon was put to rest. From what I can tell, he still lives there.

When you dig into someone's bio, you discover lots of nasty things. Will modify my post.

 

Had this problem with Slash. When I discovered he left his wife of 13 yrs, who had helped him ditch booze and heroin. Found himself an old/new girlfriend from 30 yrs ago. This gf dumped her husband of 20 yrs. And they keep parading around. "Slash Paradise"? "Slash Hell", I'd rather say.

 

Money and rock star image have this amazing power to attract chicks. Well, he's a womanizer. Doesn't change the fact that he's one of the best guitarists alive and a recovering heroin/alcohol addict. As I used to love GN'R as a kid, I must accept him as an imperfect human being. For GN'R have always been Slash to me in the first place.

 

Still working on being able to enjoy their stuff like I used to. Better to leave their bios alone. Had a similar problem with Mick Jagger and his dead gf, L'Wren Scott. Back in 2014. Agonized over Jagger's callousness the whole year. I love The Rolling Stones. It was painful. One should enjoy the music and avoid being judgemental about musicians.

Speaking of the Rolling Stones. Made me think of one of my "fav" BBs here. Who has cost me more nerves than anyone here so far. Glad this nigtmare is over, too.

 

I really empathize with all the ppl on BB. But not at the cost of my own emotional well-being. I've been co-dependent for many yrs and always want to help, while burning myself out in the process. Have had enough abusers, manipulators and emotional vampires in my life. I just want to be done with them once and for all.

I love Iggy's songs. He's got awesome voice. Great musician. I'm so happy he's still around. Just like his fav guitar player, Keith Richards. Despite all the drugs.

 

I actually woke up from a nightmare about my parents. Been having these nightmares every 2nd night since a couple of weeks. Kitty has had something to do with my awakening, as well.

 

Been raining for so many days. Autumn... Don't really know what to do with myself. After 4 hrs' sleep. Am not euphoric, to say the least. I'm just pasting the quotes to work on my brain's neuroplasticity.

Me too! I have some of his songs uploaded to my iPhone. That can be a savior for me at times. I was sorry to hear about a member of the Steely Dan band. He was far too young to die. :'( Well, I suppose 4 hours is better than none. But you deserve to have more rest. Getting quality sleep has been an issue for me.
