BJ - glad you liked those tunes.  Music Machine - I'd forgotten about that song and came across it the other day.

The guitarist from Frost used to play w/Alice Cooper and Lou Reed.

;)

yes,yes dick wagner....i remember from the rock and roll animal album. had no idea he was from/or who 'the frost' were though...

Frost was a Detroit band. Saw them at U of D when I was about 14. Can't remember their hits, but remember they did We Gotta Get Out of This Place at that concert.

Remember: SRC (Scott Richards Case)? I think they did a psychedelic version of Bolero. lol

stevesny, that's an incredible performance by Dylan.    Just fantastic.      :)

Hey Insomniac22!

Certainly is! Below is the one I wanted to post, but couldn't find it. Just did. (A lot of Dylan things are taken down only to reappear; and some seem purposefully not properly tagged and so are hard to find) At 14:58 is "I Shall Be Released," by everyone. It's amazing to me to watch other people sing Dylan. The looks on their faces.

Steve,

Wow!  Thank you, so much for posting this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQJbwCL6jvk

I just started watching it ... fantastic!!    :)

Speaking of watching others sing Dylan, have you seen the CSN performance of Girl From the North Country?

Steve,

That is really an outstanding video!      I just sent it to a friend of mine.

Love seeing all of them sing "I Shall Be Released"

I don't know how you found that video with the way it's tagged; but, I thank you for it.

Insomniac,

I'd seen it before, but couldn't find it. Then, it showed on the right after I re-listened to the first one I posted.

I’d never heard the CNS North Country, but I sure did now. Loved it! Thanks!

Here’s another with Crosby (with the Byrds + “surprise guest”) that’s a lot of fun. Tambourine Man. Which is, of course, yet another amazing song.

And one more piece of fun: Joan and Bob live in 1964 doing Mama You Been on My Mind; messing up and recovering. They were kids... :)

Steve

Just listened to both links - both fantastic!    "Tambourine Man" is an amazing song; Bob is always so

cool and relaxed in his performances.  Love the shades in that video.

And the video w/Bob & Joan is fun - they're so young.  Thank you, so much for posting these videos.

I have really enjoyed listening to everything!      :)

The 60s was a great time for music.  So glad BJ started this.

Wow. Both beautiful tunes, Insomniac!!!

This is Cryin' by Roy Orbison. I had the 45 of this! Maybe my first 45 in fact, when I was too-young-to-be-cool-but-trying

Which made me think “outside the 60s-box” to Orbison more recently (as in 1988!), with this fantastic Traveling Wilburys "Not Alone Anymore”

Which then made me look at this (terrific video) Handle with Care

Orbison's amazing. The other guys ain't bad either!!! :)

Nice thread BenzoJ!!!

Steve, Roy Orbison - The Caruso of Rock - love his music!        And, Traveling Wilburys - what a group.  I think Jeff Lynne wrote "Handle

With Care"        I really enjoyed these videos.      Music is such a great escape.    :)    Thank you, Steve.

BJ, lovin' Hang On Sloopy.  :)
