Hi All,

I like digging up newer versions of old songs. This is a good one of Smokey Robinson doing Tears Of A Clown with Daryl Hall. It's from Hall's Youtube channel Live From Daryl's House. He collaborates with a lot of good artists and they all sound great! Check it out.

I made a typo kind of thing, BTW

I had "Real nice songs Jaddy, Tryin, Jaddy!! "

when it was means to be

"Real nice songs Jaddy, Tryin, Insom!! "

I corrected it just now!!!!

I decided to Google "Best song of the 1960s." One list had this one

The Beach Boys, God Only Knows (1966)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkPy18xW1j8

Listening to all the songs from this thread, and hearing again the variety of genres in the 60s as well as the immensely great lyrics and music from so many different musicians and groups with so many different sounds -- man what a great decade for music!

Run Away

Del Shannon

I agree with you Steve, I feel very lucky that I grew up in the late 50's early 60's era. The music was great back than and it seemed every artist had their own unique sound. I find a lot of the music today you can't tell who's singing it, they all sound the same...sorry, just my opinion.

The Beachboys are great...still are around also.

My heartthrob from the late sixties, Cat Stevens.  He started out in the late sixties in England.  I had his "lost" tapes from then.  I looooooovvvvved him.
