OK,  I changed it to twisting the night away 1962....whew, I got one in any way...now I'm going to get some chocolate pudding as a reward.... >:D

I'll be back....just keep posting away...don't even wait for my turn...just say your posting this for Jaddy while she's eating pudding....

;D Gotcha covered, Sis.

I'm laughing so hard (and boy did I need to laugh)

Go ahead.  Don't feel guilty - go eat your chocolate pudding, and I'll sit here with boring crackers and cheese.

I Love you for sentimental Reasons

Hey, Nancy

I love this song and haven't heard it in a long time.

Just looked this up, and it was written in 1945 by Deek Watson and Pat Best.

Great, great song that was recorded by Nat King Cole, Dinah Shore, Ella Fitzgerald,

Django Reinhardt, Righteous Brothers, Linda Ronstadt -  to name a few.

FABULOUS SONG CHOICE!

Hiya Jaddy,

Speaking of gorgeous ... do you remember P.J. Proby? I had a big crush on him when I was about 12.

I think this song is from 1965.

That's cool Jaddy! You saw him and Chuck Barry too? Wow! That's fabulous!

I really like Brook Benton & Dinah Washington, I used to listen to my mom's records.

I'm sure you remember this one from the early 60s?

Brook Benton & Dinah Washington "Baby, You've Got What It Takes".

'Night.

Jaddy I googled to see when that song was recorded by Brook Benton and Dinah Washington and am very sad to learn that she died in 1963 at the young age of 39 from an overdose of barbiturates.

Oh wow, I didn't know that about Dinah Washington...that's the year I graduated from HS. Have to play one of her all time Greats..

What a Difference a Day Makes.  1959 might not be in the right year because these are suppose to be 1060's songs, but I guess I'm close enough...right?

I love that song! Listened to it in college and loved it then!

Been listening to a 60s station recently. Heard one today I wanted to post, but can't remember.

Also heard Satisfaction:

Also, heard this on youtube which was mentioned on another thread but worth mentioning again: Like a Rolling Stone by The Rolling Stones. Really fun and amazing performance!
