Ladyden you are so right no one can say or do anything that will speed up or cause healing.  I just listened to a benzo coaches video and oh my!  He said that he absolutely did not believe a preexisting symptom that was treated with a benzo would go away!  I'm done trying to find help from therapists/benzos coaches.  The one therapist I trust doesn't have time for me right now I will just wait for him.

Hopefully he’ll have time for you soon. I also listen to benzo survival stories but I’m careful not to trigger myself. I stick to the short ones. They give very brief account of their symptoms and focus more on how they healed  IMO that’s the way it should be. Because the healing is greater then the rough parts.

thank you.  I'm the same I want to read success stories not about the symptoms I get triggered too easily.  My husband has been sick since the night before Thanksgiving so its been a constant trigger going on.  Urgent care diagnosed him with possibly bronchitis so today he saw his PCP and he said has/had the flu so he is on a different round of meds plus his BP was very high today.  Just like everyone else trying to get through each day.

I hope you are feeling a bit better.

Hi guys.

Been unable to post. The Elemental diet took a lot out of me.

The diet did not go well. I lost more weight and the problem is still there. Very scared of taking antibiotics for it. Im going to try 600mg of Caprylic acid and hope the die off is not bad. If it turns out ok I will check back in a few days. Doctor will not discuss a feeding tube or TPN. I'm not sure how bad you have to be for that but I am getting weaker.

 

Please send a prayer my way for a good progress to come of it.

Hi Stitch,

I am so sorry the elemental hasn't worked.  I don't know if I told you this but my daughter was actually diagnosed with SIBO first by a naturopath he started her on some natural remedies but I can't remember what they were.  They were going to take 2-3 months to work I got impatient and that's why we ended up at a pediatric gastroenterologist and was put on the antibiotics.  I understand you being afraid of the antibiotics I would be too.  I hope the caprylic acid works for you.
