Hello everyone,

I have just joined this website, I'm not sure how it works but here goes my introduction I hope its not too much information. I have been taking pills for the last 10 years and started drinking 13 years before that (side note:I had 3 dry years in there). I think a little background is important, I started off with muscle relaxers, then opiates, then benzos. For as long as I can remember I have been on some type of mood stabilizer off and on as well. I have no desire to brag or glorify but for informational purposes I will list the categories of meds and just the total Mg's taken daily. Any other questions I will answer one on one.

Opiates: 120-150 mg/day

Benzo's: 44mg/day

Somas: 350 mg/day (9)

 

I went to rehab January 15, 2011 and have been clean since then. No use of any mind altering substances and yes I did quit cold turkey. It was emotionally hard and physically painfully but now I feel so clear.

 

I look forward to all the knowledge and support offered here. I hope at some point I can return it.

So glad you are clear and off this stuff that is fantastic news.  What kind of symptoms do you have if any and how did you find the c/t.  Well done I say.
