.25 xanax tolerance withdraw i think..help

i have not posted here for 8-9 months and have stayed pretty much on the same dose of xanax little over .25 once a day.  i am sure i have tolerance withdraw going on.  my question is last night i woke up in a panic and had some very intrusive thoughts an dreams  that scared the heck out of me and is just now settling down what happened...what is this.  can anyone please give me their opinions. I take my xanax @ bedtime. sometimes I fall asleep and wake up and take it that is what happen last night sometimes it is well over 24 hr between dose .

I would say what happened could very well be tolerance W/D.

 

I am on V. Cut three times last year, twice had really bad times, last one just caught up with me about month ago, but I NEVER felt right, had a day of feeling like my usual self pre-benzos all the time I have taken them, even when I have levelled, I have still felt pretty sick, just not as sick as I do now.

 

Are you staying on, or planning to get off at some point?

get off the 0.25 mg xanax asap! i was on 0.25 mg xanax for 4 years and it gave me depression. i tapered over a month (doc's schedule and order) in that state of depression and had little withdrawals. my depression kept improving as i was tapering. unfortunately i got back on benzos 5 years later (i wasn't benzo wise and my earlier experience of quitting made me feel that they were harmless). if your experience is anything like my personal experience, you will not have any problem tapering it and you will be a happier person.

Trying to get off but when I try to  cut I have a lot of SX happen .How fast could I get off???

it's been only 10 months of use at 0.25 mg xanax. what w/d sxs do you get? did you have panic and anxiety before you got on it? i mean long term disorder. not something like: i got a panic attack, went to doc. and he gave me 0.25 xanax and i got relief.

took it now and then for sleep my son is in the Marines so  my wife and I used it from time to time 30 pills would last  6mos to a year . Then about 1& a half years ago I started everyday at bed time due to pain shots i got for back pain that made me crazy  they overdose me and so that is when I started my everyday use so now I can not get off the Xanax .25 a day . so that is the short version .

use the taper plans on this site to get off them. that is the only advice i can volunteer.

Thanks for the help . I hope some more fokes can let me no what could be happening this is getting very hard could this be a wave I have a lot stress at work can that set SX off??? i also hot /cold feet tingling or pins an needles
