[...]
I've been one month off benzo and really can't describe the messy side effects with a name because they are so weird...right now the worst part is trying to fall asleep and waking up suddenly feeling like something bad is going to happen. Nobody should go through this, ive never even tried any drugs in my life and ended up having to use them for panic attacks...someday i will understand why and hopefully be able to help others, for now i hope i have a smoother ride the next days. i still have to taper from Prozac but havent even thought about it for now since withdrawing from Klonopin has been so hard. Positive thinking and los of prayers are my best cure... 1year klonopin .5 three times a day 1 year prozac 20 mg
[pi...]
Hello Erin, Welcome to Benzo Buddies, we are very happy you found us. Congratulations on being benzo free!! There are indeed many weird symptoms with benzo withdrawal. That is one of the great things about this forum, all of us understand this process and can validate that what you feel is from withdrawal. The good thing is that these symptoms are temporary and will go away with time. You are right, finish your recovery and then you can tackle the prozac. Please feel free to ask questions and visit the various boards. Let us know how we can help. pianogirl
[...]
well ive been going to monthly therapy that works like a checkup for these withdrawal symptoms. I actually don't know how far ahead i am with my diagnosis since i was diagnosed with depression and panic disorder by one doctor and ADD inattentive type by another. The final diagosis was the ADD/ADHD for which i was prescribed methylphenidate along with a benzo and an ssri. Right now im taking 10mg (5mg twice a day) and i dont understand it but it has actually helped me through this process. This is all very confusing since im still not 100% sure of what the right condition is but wanted to see if anybody out has had the same experience and could give some feedback or advice. [...]
Sometimes we get a cold and say its hell, thats until some encounter these meds, we are actually not exaggerating our symptoms and only we know how bad it feels. I too was deppressed for a couple of days. Id say, depending were you live, get out of your house, get some sun, or ice creanm or go for a walk, watch the sunset, all these should help, never forget there are people going through the same thing, maybe not the people surrounding you but, for example, all of us in here...stay strong

[bl...]
Congratulations, Erin. It may be rocky for a while depending on how you tapered, but usually 3 months or so off seems to be the worse for many posters. It will clear up though. Give it time and let your GABA heal along with your nervous system so that you are your old self again. If you had panic attacks before, learning how to deal with those in a new way is challenging, or at least, that's my situation. :highfive::highfive::highfive:

No wonder i feel so bad...last night i had a decaf latte like at 7pm which was really milk with a little bit of coffee color and took my Ritalin 5mg as usual. Went to bed finally at 2am, woke up at 3am with horrible anxiety, hallucinations, chest discomfort, heart palpitations, heartburn, dry throat, feeling psycho (sorry i dont know how else to describe it), and just before i woke up i jumped in like a loop inside my head, just so weird,,,,so i didnt want to go back to bed but my eyes were going back since i was so tired i think i just fainted to sleep...today woke up at 2pm feeling like crap, wired, weak, in another channel, could barely walk, felt empty chested, dizzy, headache and sad....WOW...this pills are poisonous...happy to be here to share this and know that you all understand what im going through...hopeful this thing will end... [Ob...]
Start introducing workouts. It's going to take a while, and for a few weeks you will feel like shit, but it will help a lot. It will come sporadically, the lack of sleep I mean, but it will definitely get you on the right track!
