[sp...]
I just watched Dr. Drew. WH's death report is in. Inconclusive, but here are the facts: She had a LOW LEVEL OF XANAX IN HER SYSTEM, DESPITE EMPTY BOTTLES OF LARGE AMOUNTS IN HER BEDROOM!!! Dr. Drew says he thinks she had a seizure!!! OMG this is tragic. She also was an alchoholic but had no recent alcohol in her system so she may have had a seizure due to THAT too. High levels of cocaine in her system.... OMG. This is devastating and should be a wake up call to everyone.

[Ga...]
They found cocaine in her room, they said it was heart disease and cocaine. If they found low amt of xanaz, that just means she was not using much?
[sp...]
dr drew said her heart problems (60% of something) was insignificant.... low amt of xanax in her system, but empty bottles of larger amounts in her bedroom. so she probably was trying to w/d... she had smoked marijuana within an hour or two of her death. maybe she was coping w/ the w/d symptoms? who knows. its just tragic and ....ugh. [bl...]
Coke addicts very often take Xanax to help them sleep. Coke causes heart attacks. I'm guessing she took cocaine, and a large enough dose to try to then sleep with Xanax. Celebrity doctors will prescribe anything. Michael Jackson died because his doctor was giving him a nightly IV dose of a hardcore anesthetic that you can only take in the hospital called propofol just to help him sleep. I've taken that before surgery. It was intense. I've been administered all kinds of anesthetics (the docs have a very hard time putting me out and always have -- some surgeries wound up being rescheduled because I'm so nonresponsive to almost every anasthetic out there; I carry a CARD with what works in case I'm in a car wreck and let my local ER keep it on file as well) and that was the fastest and strongest. It was like a lead blanket that I didn't notice until after the fact. Pink stuff came down the tube. I thought, "Gee, I wonder what that's going to feel like?" Then I saw it go into my arm, thought it looked like Pepto Bismol, and suddenly I had had surgery and was in the next room with a sore throat. That's hardcore stuff. These kinds of doctors are criminal; I believe Michael Jackson's doctor was charged?
[sp...]
I think he was charged. I guess celebrity doctors' eyes get glazed over at the awe and mystique of celebrity and lose their senses. Goes to show you, whatever kind of status u have in life, comes with consequences..
[La...]
Her autopsy report said "heart disease" did not specify, did not say heart attack. Years ago I read an article on heart disease , they had done autopsies on hundreds of very young men that had died during the Vietnam war, almost all of these 18-20 year olds had the start of atherosclerosis or heart disease which they attributed to the fast food industry, Mcds getting its start around that time frame, I figure most all of us have "heart disease" in varying degrees so to me that meant diddly as far as contributing to her death, IMO
[sp...]
Dr drew said something alone the lines of "no doctor worth their salt would find her 60% heart (forgot details) worth worrying about"..
[wa...]
Whitney Houston was a long term drug abuser/addict. She used huge amounts of drugs and alcohol for years, both speed, weed and downers like benzos and barbs. A good chance is that it had a strain on her heart and she had a heart attack from all of it. I don't think she died of benzo w/d at all.
[La...]
Latest report to come out of Los Angeles on her death . The hotel room where she dies bore the hallmarks of a traveller, but it also contained something tragically familiar for the singer, signs of cocaine and its paraphernalia. The drug was found throughout Houston's body, according to an autopsy report . On a bathroom counter, investigators found a small spoon described by investigators as having a crystallike substance in it and in a drawer they discovered a white powdery substance. The DOZENS of prescription drug bottles found in Houston's suite led investigators to initially suspect she died of an overdose, but after further examination ad toxicology results they concluded she drowned accidentally. Heart disease , which caused a 60% blockage to one of here arteries and cocaine use were listed as contributing factors. Toxicology results also showed Houston had marijuana, xanax, flexeril and the allergy medication Benadryl in her system, but none are considered factors in her death. So there it is, all the facts, one partially blocked artery? and cocaine, no where does it state she had a heart attack which can be determined at autopsy and to me it is negligent that the other drugs were not listed at least as a contributing factor, it might have been enough to make some people look at their own RX drug use a little closer and maybe do a rethink of their drug intake and how mixing even over the counter pharmaceuticals like Benadryl and flexeril with RX meds can cause a health crisis. [fl...]
She had abused so many different drugs for so many years. She was speed-bumping right along the entire time with downers and uppers. There's only so much the human body can withstand before it says 'enough is enough'. I don't believe that benzo withdrawal is fatal, it only makes you feel as though you are dying but you're actually not. Just your body moaning and groaning for more benzo's. However, taking too many benzo's, mixing them with everything coming and going as she did then that's a for sure death sentence. Does not matter if she overdosed, heart attack ..whatever the case may be. She abused her body for too many years. Looked young and beautiful on the outside but certainly had to look 100 years old on the inside. It's a crying shame.
[sp...]
true but benzo w/d, if done fast enough, can cause seizures. THAT can cause death.

[al...]
i think if you mix benydrl which is a downer, flexeral which is a downer xanax which is a downer and weak heart its deadly coctail then weed which wires you for a little bit then becomes a downer and then boom hit it with coke which speeds it up your heart can suffer badly sometimes people will not follow a taper or take med as needed because of drugs alchohal use my new md has told me with a low resting pulse i should never ever be on a benzo or anything that lowers heart rate in last year alone ive been on oxycodone, hydrocodone, flexryl, benzo, tramadol benadryl even at same time very sad another case of doing homework before you write a script but in this world money talks
