On a positive note .... my anxiety seems to have stabilized .....

and I can actually envision moving forward to my next cut at the end of the week. I'm still having some fatigue and brain fog. I've also battled an ocular migraine as well today, bleh, hate those. However, all in all, a step in the right direction and some hope. As I look back, it was just two weeks of stabilization, so I'm thinking maybe the problem is not the 10% of previous dosage cut but the lack of adequate recovery time in between (I was holding one week, the bulk of which was getting over the last cut). I think I am going to try a 10% reduction again and wait two weeks before the next cut.

Thanks, FG. As simple as it is, I think little reminders of encouragement are good for folks. Success stories are great but sometimes it can be hard for folks in the trenches to see the light. I know you appreciate this too, and that is that not everyone's taper is going to be horrendous, but you might think that by looking at a lot of the postings because people who are doing well are less likely to post. I know your situation is rough, but you're always careful to point out the detox portion and ward folks against things like that - which is a great service to people.

Thanks, Benzo3.  I really appreciate it.  I also think you're right in that people with successful tapers tend to post less often.  I hope to have a great success story when I am off of this stuff.  People need to know that it is possible to come off of these drugs.
