[so...]
Started titration off of .5 klonapin :o. The first week was hell, my major symptom has been brain fog, nausea, hand tingling, slight muscle twitching, lite headaches, tired, and bad vertigo. Goodness I wish I never started this drug. This site has ended lot of the anxiety, but the the physical sx's are what has been the biggest problem, its been tolerable, but not a walk in park :'(
Guest [Be...]
The brain fog and spaciness is the worst for me also! Welcome--I'm new here, too, but I've been reading for quite a while. I hope your titration goes very smoothly. Know that you're not alone!!!

[fl...]
Hi solid, Sorry to hear that you're having such a time of it. I agree with you, this is no walk in the park. Do you think you are tapering too fast? I have a lot of physical symptoms as well but I had to taper incredibly fast in the beginning and they were kicking my tail all over the place (sometimes still do but not as bad since I slowed this down). Take care
Guest [Be...]
Try not to be convinced to micro taper for the next 2 years...( ) I've dropped from 4mg klonopin to 1.25 since the 3rd week of February with few notable withdrawal effects. I've had some irritability, mild depression and tinnitus, but nothing crippling. The more you read online about people's awful, protracted withdrawal, the more likely you will end up having the same. You're on .5mg--you're practically home free! Please don't over-analyze every single thing you feel, whether it's physical, mental or emotional. It's too easy to attribute normal fluctuations in emotions and physical sensations as withdrawal effects. Live your life-don't quit doing what you normally would. Ashton and the people here and other places online are not the be-all, end-all regarding coming off benzos. Many people come of faster than Ashton suggests with little trouble. Reinstating if you feel totally nuts is not a sign of failure. The entire psychiatric community is also not out to "get" us. Unless you listen to many people here, or Scientologists. [so...]
I thought i would give and update to my process. It has been going very well, I've crossed over to valium and its has been wonderful, the physical symtoms have subsided dramatically. The fog is minimal and the noodle legs come and go with less frequency. I'm even back working out. I have cut my valium intake .125 mg and it has been holding steady, I'm also still taking about .125 of klonipin but that is far and few between. I think I may make the jump from Klonpin in a week or so. My energy level has increased dramatically, the body shakes are less frequent, I have had windows of 4 and 5 days, even the days where the windows are not there are very tolerable. This site has been a Godsend, I'm not a afraid when my body starts doing funny things, now I know i'm not dying. People there is light at the end of the tunnel. I thought I was doomed to be on this drug for the rest of my life. Prayer, faith and your encouraging posts have been my comfort. I read about the outside chatrooms. Please people stick with the family inside this forum. People love being judgmental because of bad things going on in their lives, we have our own problems to deal with. Let's keep it in the family. Keep the faith and God bless all of you.
