Muscle weakness and fatigue

Is it common to experience these during or after a tough cut to the extent that you just want to lay down because it is so much effort to do normal things? I'm very fatigued and "weak feeling" right now. I don't think I am actually weak, as I can lift my normal weights and such, but just tire so easily.

Hi Benzo3,

Yes I am just over halfway through my taper and feel exhausted most of the time. I held my tapering for 3 weeks as I had flu which compounded the exhaustion but the tiredness did not abate so I have resumed tapering and still feel the same. BTW I taper 1 ml every day. I am trying to carry on with my normal routine but it is very difficult.

Hope you feel better soon

Debbie  :)

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have SEVERE weakness and fatigue.  Some days I can even raise my arms to wash my hair or put cream on my face.  I have fallen due to my muscles being so tight.  EVERY day feels like ive run a marathon the day before.  Read my signature....I was in interdose withdraw for two years. For 2 years, I have a hard time walking, writing and sometimes eating due to weakness.  I was medically cleared by neurology.  This IS benzo withdrawal.  Consider yourself blessed it u can continue to workout during this nightmare :smitten: Candy

Yes I feel dreadfully fatigued too and my muscles very weak. It all hit me at once after a bout of benzo flu. I am still getting flu like sx and feel sooo fatigued but anxious at the same time after a cut. I also have insomnia but even if I do get a decent sleep the sleep is not refreshing. My body feels like I am 90 and I am only 34! Sorry you ar also experiencing this.

I am still experiencing this and it's getting worse.  It's gotten to the point where I have to lie in bed all day now because I am so weak.  I am sleeping at night but when I wake up feel like I've been up all night.  I can't get out of bed until later morning.  My muscles ache and eyes feel gritty--just like someone who is seriously sleep-deprived.  What the heck is going on here?  I cannot do anything except walk around the house and then get back in bed (but can't sleep either).  When does this get better??  It is much more than fatigue--it feelsl like I'm getting over the flu every single day.
