Hi Kmarie!

You are not going crazy, you are just healing from the demon benzo drugs.  I have read that antibiotics can cause waves and I'm sure that is what has happened to you.  Its hard to have any perspective when in the depths of hell, but you have come so far already in the healing process.  You will get past this!  You will soon turn a corner and start having glorious windows again.  Don't despair, I have been there too and I feel your suffering.  I am sending you positive energy for healing and strength for the battle.  You can do this!

Thanks Whoopsie and MiniMinnie I just don't know what to do. I just don't feel right.  This is intense and I keep telling myself just let it go but it doesn't help.  I am so scared I will end up in the ER.  If I didn't have to work it would be easier but I need the paycheck so I sit here and suffer.

I am so sorry about the aftereffects of the antibiotic.  Remember it doesn't take much to upset the apple cart when recovering from benzos.  I had a bad wave after I took the zpack and it did take a couple of weeks to settle down.

I know how you feel but just hang on.  This wave will go away and a bright window will be in your future. You are strong and will make it through this and because of your strength the benzo beast will let go of you.

Know that you are not alone,  we know how it feels and we understand. I'm sending a big hug in your direction.

Pianogirl what was your wave like??  This is just so intense.  I'm so mad about this setback.  It was an ear infection so I could have just let it heal on it's own but I thought I'm 18 months out surely amoxicillian won't hurt me.  wow was I wrong.    I do feel a little better than I did over the weekend I just pray it eases up more soon.  I'm back to being pretty much work and homebound.  Thanks for your support.

Hugs

Kmarie,

My waves are usually a resurgent of every symptom I thought was gone or fading away. A lot of physical anxiety sxs like shaky hands and quaking muscles as well as burning and muscle pain.  Dizziness too which I hate and also just the feeling of not being able to do the things I want to. Almost like I want to retreat to my bedroom oasis like I did in the earlier days.

If you were on amoxicillan you probably took it longer than I did, my dose was only for 5 days and I think only 250mg per tablet.  If you do feel better than over the weekend than I bet it will continue to improve.  Who knows why things happen in withdrawal, there are just parts of our cns that are still very sensitive.

I took it for 4 days (all I could stand) and they were 500 mg 3 times a day.  I thought the MG was a bit high for just an ear infection but I didn't argue with the doctor I just took them.  Now I'm paying the price for not second guessing her.  UGHHH

Hugs and thanks for the help.  My bedroom is also my oasis lol.
