When does the shakiness and terror and intense hard to breathe anxiety end?

I thought I was getting better and now it's back full force.

Beamer  - Hang in there.  Month 3 for me is when things got WAY worse.  I think it's a good sign, though, as the nervous system finally starts to heal instead of being in just a state of shock. Months 3-5 are the hardest for most of us, with month 6 being where a lot of people start to turn a huge corner. I am approaching that time myself, and I have to say that even though I'm still in a mild fog and it's annoying me to death, I am not suffering anymore.  I'm not my old self, but I'm not in that intense, intense pain with all of those physical symptoms. I DO understand that. I wish I had a nickel for every time I have typed this same thing to so many buddies at that point in time. These are hte HARDEST months  - Hang in there. You are going to turn a corner in the next 2-3 months at most.  I was almost suicidal at 3 months. And only 2 1/2 months later, I see how much better it's gotten and while I dont' like this experience, I have seen more healing take place than I thought was ever possible.  Now I'm just looking forward to the summer.

I really know how you feel.  Hang in there. It's normal to be where you are at right now .You're going to turn that corner, though.

Keep holding on. Keeping writing on here.  Anything to distract. The time will pass regardless. And it's going to get SO much better.
